This is themriron2 v Breakfast in D-sharp in Round Six of the Clip-Off. You have five days to submit your clips, and until 23:00 BST Time November 28 to vote. November 29 is the Results Day. This is the Alt-Team Round! If you picked three singers, use any two, the other doesn't matter. If you picked two, you must use both but you have the chance for a 0.5 bonus if you sweep. The categories for Round Six are: 1. Best Sustained High Note(s): A passage wherein any sustained high note - relative to the singer - is sung. 2. Best Vocal Cover: A performance of a song originally by another artist. The point here is not really to compare the two versions, but the cover itself to be impressive enough to stand on its own. The contestants are free to post their clips, voting commences as soon as they have. Vote here. Current Vote Count: 0

{Best Sustained High Note(s) - Takaya Kuroda}
Timestamp to 3:42. This one is a curveball - Kuroda's very low voice makes this an exceptionally low "high note" clip! He builds up to a series of strong, belted C4 and C♯4s with his awesome dark tone, with satisfying, stylistic distortion throughout the passage. {Best Vocal Cover - Zhou Shen}
Timestamp to 2:40. Chinese soprano "Charlie" Zhou Shen gives a beautiful interpretation of classic Italian song "Time to Say Goodbye"/"Con te partirò", as made famous by Andrea Bocelli. With delicate, angelic singing rising to incredible fifth octave belts and a dramatic sustained A5 to round off, this is one of the best covers of the song you could ask for.

{Best Sustained High Note(s)}Thomas Quasthoff is a bass-baritone (with a few solid af 1st octave notes) so I would consider high notes for him to be anything above middle C, including most of this clip, which tops at G4 and finishes on a well-sustained E4-D4 phrase. 3:30-4:02
{Best Vocal Cover}This one's not on YouTube so I hope this works. Cheryl Anne Easton (who isn't even a professional opera singer) nails the notoriously difficult Queen of the Night aria (Der Hölle Rache kocht in meinem Herzen), spanning a range of F4-F6 including some tricky bits. 1:06-3:04 Der Hölle Rache
