Brian Lane Bell
Years Active: 1991 - Present
Associated Acts: Weezer, The Relationship, Space Twins, Carnival Art
Recorded Range: F2 - F5
Voice Type: Sagittarius
{Vocal Summary}Since the band's ‘90s debut, Weezer guitarist Brian Bell has been there to provide plenty of catchy harmonies as well as many of their songs’ highest belts, even sometimes above lead singer Rivers Cuomo, a more natural tenor. And over time, Bell’s only grown stronger as a vocalist, as he now carries a robust, piercing tone up into the fifth octave for both studio and live performances. Unsurprisingly, Bell's solo work reveals that he is beyond capable as a lead singer as well. While fronting Space Twins and The Relationship, his side projects, Bell has displayed notable command over both ends of his range, complete with a clear, bright timbre and a charismatic, punk-inspired delivery.
