I feel like basically any hyperpop song would be enough to turn someone gay because of how inherently queer the genre is lmaoooo anyways this song makes me feel very gay Was immediately thinking of slayyyter, haha. {Also:} I could go on and on.

Speaking of Zappa. This is one of his gayest songs, maybe his gayest, but how would I know? Guy has a huge discography:

It doesn't get much gayer than this. I always liked how Brian managed to bring his guitar playing subtleties to the synth on this track too. It managed to have the Brian May guitar solo experience, just on a different instrument.

Nice to see the obligatory Freddy and the Straights song "I Want to Break Free" isn't a random Freddie-stan choice though. MTV refused to play the video, back when they were a dominant force in the USA. Queen sticking by that video, to their own commercial detriment in America (and later being remembered fondly for it) was a cultural moment for androgyny vs conservatism.

I find that Queen's 1980s material doesn't tempt my homoerotic side so much as it affirms my heterosexuality. Good music, not criticizing that, but not something that sparks some inner desire for flying out to Germany and hitting the town on a Friday night. Maybe I'm alone in that, though.

Yes I know all that lol it's just a very "straight boy who knows about rock videos" pick. I find that Queen's 1980s material doesn't tempt my homoerotic side so much as it affirms my heterosexuality. Don't worry you're not alone, you just articulated the feeling better than I did

If 1980s Queen affirms my sexuality, then 1980s Lindsey Buckingham affirms both that and my sobriety. Don't do drugs, kids.

Well, sobriety from cocaine is probably boring, true. I do like a good wine now and again, though, occasionally even a shot of some whiskey. So my life isn't as white-bread as all that. But I digress. :)
