There are a lot of good clips from Warrel Dane that I could choose for this description. But at the moment, I think the really raw, visceral distortion in the mid-section of "Beyond Within" is my favourite example, and a departure from some of his more-theatrical delivery. Shame it didn't make many appearances outside of the "Dreaming Neon Black" album.

The way he sorta stumbles over the delivery of "Now everybody clap your hands" and just somehow times it perfectly
I love everything about this section from the way he says "the song remains the same" to the amazing guitar lick at the very end

Hozier does this and I'm like fuck yeah. Fuck yeah. The vocal merit of a lot of the extremities in this song are dubious but they make my world go round

The growl in Tom Waits' voice gets me every time.

In addition to being an impressively sustained A4, Robin's way of pronouncing the word "alone" in this part always gets me. Robin's vocal delivery was second to none, and this entire song proves it. He always sang with so much emotion in his voice, it's impossible to not feel what he's feeling.

Dude, the fucking vibrato on the " oooOOOooOOoon", with the tinge of Richard Horvitz-style rasp at the very end is transcendently good. And then it gets followed up by one of the most bitchin' G4s I ever done heard in mah entire life. One of the best Weezer songs ever made in my opinion, and the climactic build up from the bridge into the closing chorus is 65% of the reason why. The instrumentation goes hard as hell, and Rivers vocals are emotive and on point AF. I've listened to everything Shadow Academy, I've listened to all the most emotional parts of the Under the Covers trilogy, and the most chills I've ever gotten from Dan's voice is in a song where Ninja Brian gets erectile dysfunction. It's one of the few times that isn't plagued by his ungodly insistence on burying his lows underneath the STUPID FUCKING MULTILAYERINGTM... and speaking of which, the double-tracking actually does it for me for once. Something about the way it seems to magnify the warm tone in his voice... I swear, if Shadow Academy doesn't release one song that has a segment like this in it, I'm gonna go to the Grumps HQ and give Danny a Roman soldier helmet.

Something about the way Devin Townsend says "And I can't even fucking piss!" in "Shitstorm" is oddly satisfying to me. I suppose the sheer rage and exasperation makes it strangely humorous.

1:50-1:57 is what happens when someone of a darker tone reaches perfection in note delivery that blows off doors.
