Geordie Greep (born August 1999)
Associated Acts: black midi (2017 - present)
Vocal Purpose: Magnificent
Vocal Range: G2 - G♯5
{Vocal Summary}This guy went from sounding like a schizophrenic art school student to a full blown Disney Villain wearing the visage of an incredibly high Scott Walker making the most life-threatening broadway musical of all time, complete with live demons and pyrotechnics. His voice is horrifying as much as it is idiosyncratic and giving it a summary would force me to go on for thousands of words talking about how his soft, warbly crooning of "a pink caterpillar with six anorexic children" quickly devolving what I can only assume is Greep channeling his inner Looney Tunes character is actually way too awesome to describe properly. I hope him and the rest of black midi keep making engaging, fun and batshit insane rock music and reinvent the wheel for themselves with every album. What a magnificent purpose.
