INFORMATION: Whichever singer you do not use in round one, you will have to use in round two.
A few reminders:
• As with the last two years, your opponent in the subsequent round will be based upon however well you do in the current one. For Round One, they have been randomly picked.
• As before, voting is compulsory - in order to avoid having points revoked, you will be required to vote in at least two other match-ups.
Round One Information
Round One starts this Friday, November 11, you'll be tagged and notified in your thread. You have five days exactly to submit your clips, and until midnight EST Sunday, November 20 to vote. November 21 is the Results Day.
The categories for Round One are:
1. Best Non-Native Singing - A passage sung in a language the singer does not natively speak.
2. Best Emotional Singing - Affecting an emotional vocal delivery in order to tug at the listener's heartstrings in one way or another.
The pairings are spoilered underneath - they were decided by RNG. Note that due to the odd number of contestants, Goober has volunteered to be in two matchups at once. They will post the same clips to both, and will receive half a point per victory.
