The categories for Round One are:
1. Best Non-Native Singing - A passage sung in a language the speaker does not natively speak.
2. Best Emotional Singing - Affecting an emotional vocal delivery in order to tug at the listener's heartstrings in one way or another.

{Best Non-Native Singing - Matt Bellamy}
2:16 - 3:13, here in "I Belong to You", Matt takes a swing at singing in French. Admittedly his pronunciation is quite bad, but he still sounds great and it's not like he's got good diction in English either lol

{Best Emotional Singing - Conor Mason}
1:53 - 3:52, one of my favorite vocal performances from Conor, with inflections heavily inspired by Jeff Buckley. "Lover Please Stay" is a beautiful ballad with exceptional vocals. Conor does a great job selling the emotions of the song by adding frailty to his falsetto, weight to his belts and plenty of variety in between.
