Everyone's first time sharing their singing is a bit awkward. Everyone has to start somewhere :) A lot of "Sugar" is quite vocally experimental, being rooted in the timbres and intensities of the performance, which makes it a difficult place to start. If System of a Down is the kind of music you're influenced by, something like "Lonely Day" or "Aerials", which has more of a tune at the centre of it would shed more light on where you're at as a singer. Anyhow, the more-melodic moments, like the tail end of the chorus, were the parts you sounded most-confident delivering. You, understandably, appeared to be holding back a bit on the distorted lines, and I'd recommend getting a strong foundation in clean singing before leaning into distorted vocals in general. The main sticking point with that song is the very fast-paced shout-sung lines, and those were getting away from you some. I got the impression you might have been reading the lyrics as you went along, which can work, but for something with that many syllables so quickly, you'd be better off having the lyrics memorised. Always good to see more people getting involved in music though. Keep at it, and you will hone your skills. Looking forward to hearing more
