This is BassSquared v 'S in Round One of the Clip-Off. You have five days exactly to submit your clips, and until midnight EST Thursday, December 1 to vote. December 2 is the Results Day.

The categories for Round One are:
1. Best Usage of Head Voice/Falsetto: Any clip that makes prominent use of the singer's falsetto or head voice (M2 for the vocal nerds out there). The clip doesn't need to be entirely in head voice, it just needs to use it predominantly.
2. Best Usage of Chest Voice: Any clip that makes prominent use of the singer's chest voice. Any reasonably connected-sounding singing, including belts and heavy mix, is elegible.

The teams are free to post their clips, voting commences as soon as they have.

{Best Head Voice: Georgia Train}
2:01 to 2:51. Honestly my entire team tends to prefer belting for their highs for the most part, but Georgia does alright with this little bit of operatic head voice, getting up to a respectable B5 with a lovely, crystalline tone and closing it off with some fun melismas.

{Best Chest Voice: Will Wood}
3:12 to 5:06, instrumental from 4:06 to 4:24. The first half of this clip sees Will building up to the song's dramatic climax with lots of energy and character, not to mention some powerful full-chest A4s. The second half, meanwhile, goes to a much lower, softer place before slowly ratcheting it up to the finale. Tons of variety here.

{Best Usage of Head Voice/Falsetto - Paloma Faith}1:32–2:37. Just very pretty light poppy falsetto and a going a little harder for that final chorus. A veritable bold moment.

{Best Usage of Chest Voice - Moon Joo-ran}14:54–16:02. Lovely softness contrasting with those super satisfying lows, then the beltier moments got a fun mixture of clear tones and gruff "diva attitude" type tones. And who could forget the thiccness of it all! That'll be most of the bases covered for chest voice then l o l
