This is BassSquared v mikale in Round Seven of the Clip-Off. You have five days to submit your clips, and until 23:59 EST Friday, January 27 to vote. January 28 is the Results Day. Round Seven is the Alt-Team Round! Instead of their regular teams, contestants will be using the teams listed here. If a team of 2 wins both their matchups, they gain an extra half point as a reward for sweeping with less flexibility. The categories for Round Seven are: 1. Best Vocal Climax: Singing that builds up in intensity to a satisfying peak. 2. Best Soft Singing: A performance which particularly emphasizes soft or tender vocals. The teams are free to post their clips, voting commences as soon as they have. Vote here. Current Vote Count: 4

{Best Vocal Climax: Minami} 3:51 to 4:59. In possibly my favorite performance of hers, Minami's vocals grow from a soft-yet-intense start to an impassioned, gasping frenzy, capping things off with an absolutely killer final note that pretty perfectly encapsulates the "climax" category imo.
{Best Soft Singing: Cassie Wei} 1:15 to 2:25, 2:36 to 3:11. Honestly, Momo here just naturally has a really light, clear, airy voice all the time, so it's no surprise that it shines when applied to a soft, tender ballad like this. Some gorgeously subtle vocal layers in here as well. Just a sweet, faintly melancholy love song aimed directly for the feels.
