This is mikale v Tetra in Round Nine of the Clip-Off. You have five days to submit your clips, and until 23:59 EST Saturday, February 18 to vote. February 19 is the Results Day. Round Nine is the Grand Finale round, in which clips may be up to five minutes long. There are three categories - for the Free Choice category, you can use any of your singers, regardless of if you've used them in the first two. However, as a bonus twist, if you use all of your singers across all three categories and sweep, you get a bonus +1.0. The categories for Round Nine are: 1. Best Live Performance: A live vocal take done during a live show, a stage show or live in studio, etc. 2. Best Studio Performance: A studio recording of a vocal performance, which may include backing and/or harmony singing. 3. Free Choice: A clip you thought was interesting in terms of its vocal that you just really want to show off; you can use a song here that you were perhaps saving for a category but didn't get to use. Vote here. Current Vote Count: 4

{Best Live Performance - Ariana Grande}this one is kind of hard because it is hard to pull an ariana trick that hasn't already been seen in this clip off so far but I'll try lol. 1:30 - End i didn't timestamp
{Best Studio Performance - Ailee} 0:00 - 0:35 + 1:45 to end. I think this song is honestly Ailee in her purest form, and she goes nuts at the end. It's also the song that made me a fan of hers. So I think it's only fitting to end it with this one, even if it might not be the best. {Free Choice - Hui} You can start this one around the 20-30 second mark. Admittedly, Hui didn't do that great this year. Probably because of my recklessness throughout the competition. Still, he is one of the best vocalists the K-Pop has to offer. So I still have solace in that. A lot of people don't respect K-Pop vocalists because of their genre, so if you did feel that way at the start of the competition I hope you at least developed a little respect for Hui and his voice. Anyways, this is the song that Hui wrote before his enlistment and it his story about getting older, so it's personal to him. I like it just because it is a good display of his ability and his competency as a vocalist. That's all from me. Byyeeee

{Best Live Performance - Dan Avidan}apologies for the low quality clip, there's barely any high quality ones out there lmao. Dan is usually a pretty inconsistent live singer from what I've seen at least, but he does pretty well in this acoustic performance of Dinosaur Laser Fight, somehow making a song with that title sound somewhat emotional. He even ends the song on a sustained C#5 as opposed to the A4 he usually does.
23:38 - 26:15 just skip like a minute if you don't want to listen to the whole thing
{Best Studio Performance - Neil Cicierega}I don't think of Neil as a very good singer (don't ask why I picked him, I thought it'd be funny) but he definitely has his impressive moments, such as the ending of Touch-Tone Telephone which I've picked for this category. Some belted Bb4's and nice layered vocals for the song's intense climax, it then fades out with a pretty acapella arrangement featured in the beginning of the song. Definitely what I'd consider his best studio performance. 2:48 - 3:48
{Free Choice - Dan Avidan}ok I give up on being serious for the last round. I know I'm probably not gonna sweep so uhhh just take this clip from dan its pretty good :)
2:49 - 4:00 and 4:41 - 5:26
