Boz Burrell was an english bass player and singer, member from bands as "King Crimson" or "Bad Company". His most famous work or at least most famous musical work where he participated is probably recording of "Islands", fourth studio album by King Crimson in 1971.
This album is a clear point where the band started to aim to the sound they will take during 1973-74 at John Wetton's era. Though band sound since first album always has been similar (that classic arrangements, use of mellotron and acoustic guitars with steel strings here and there) I think since this album they continued with their musical line but also tried to add even more jazz, rock progressive influences, maybe even more complex and new.
Boz died of a heart attack in Spain on 21 September 2006, aged 60.
