Molly Rankin
Associated Act: Alvvays
Vocal Range: F♯3 - G5
{Vocal Summary}Molly Rankin is the singer, songwriter and frontwoman of Alvvays, an indie/dream pop band bordering on shoegaze. Her personality and her singing style sums up the band's image quite well with her respectable, dreamlike stage presence. Her voice is always resonant and clear, lightening as she goes higher until she's in head voice. Kind of like Victoria Legrand without vibrato. I tend to imagine her as the face of an idealistic suburban neighborhood where people keep wearing those striped tees and riding bikes everywhere they go with lollipops in hand.
