the D6 and E6 in the thread are questionable imo. not really much musical context, sustainability or quality to speak of in regards to either of them. also imo the C6 from the game of thrones theme is potentially boldworthy. considering how low his voice is otherwise it's sustained really well

i tend to agree that his egregious use of 1st octave fry notes has a different connotation given that he also is a professional opera singer, but that doesn't really make it any less unnecessary. i would say he's possibly less bad than nicola sedda in the rangewanking regard if u only count his actual songs but that's not saying anything.

In the opera it's quite the opposite. He has to stand there and sing very loud and very well, within a fairly small range. Mostly A2-E4 or something like that. Ivan Dorin is your man, he doesn't do anything else. |
