wbradycall "Projected across an orchestra". I was rather discussing what one would expect from a contemporary singer with an actual bass voice. That singer may not have any training that would (or would not) enable him to produce sound in the extreme way that you are referring to. How large is a "medium-sized room", by the way? Okay fair enough. Hard to explain what I think of as a "medium-sized room."

Avi Kaplan and other basses sing a capella, down to a resonant C#2. I suppose it's difficult to judge individual volume from a 14 man choir, but I think most of them have a fair bit more power and resonance than most baritones would when attempting that note. Also, check out the voice of Thou Yang for reference, whom has good tonal quality when singing C2 but he admits himself that projection-wise it's not much especially because he's a basso cantante. *who has good tonal quality Where and from whomst did you learn to use "whom" like that? Oh for the love of god, if you don't know how to use "whom" properly, just stick to "who" or "whomst'd've" or something. I don't understand what grammatical processes in your brain, as a native English speaker (which I know you are), could have possibly made you think that sounded correct.

No offense, I'm not mad or anything, but what you just said is random, out of the blue, and off topic. I don't know why you're correcting a minor grammar mistake of mine in a conversation about basses and baritones.

It isn't just this one time. Just say "who" all the time, it's okay.
