{Vocal Summary}
Mood can be used in music to elevate emotion in music. Original Seattle resident, Vince Lichlyter of the Arkansas based alternative rock-metal band, Jonah33 definitely has a lot of it channeling deep feelings in his music with passion and perseverance from a traumatic youth. His voice has been described as passionate and raspy and definitely grunge influenced almost sounding like the greats like Lanegan, Vedder or even Cobain. High register is decent being able to even rasp up the high belting he can do with minimal issue and in later in his career in the band included screaming in his highs. His lower register is strong as well though with minimal rasp being able to sing mid-range to lower with moody melodies and even a lead in to as if having a few seconds about to lash out with his highs. He can also go to hit notes with his low register in seconds going lower or back a little higher depending on his control. While his influences are evident, I still believe that Lichlyter still stands at his own as a man with a lot of love for Jesus and with a lot of passion in his musicality I do not see this man stopping in giving music for reflection and catharsis.
