This is an updated explainer and an FAQ about what you can expect when you've received a warning level. This is the system we will use when warning members, in full:
*While the criteria increases in severity in relation to the warning level, every tier includes all of the criteria mentioned before it. Your warning level does not magically stop increasing if you keep committing minor infractions.
Where can I see my warning level?
If you don't have one, nowhere. If you do receive one, you will see it on both your profile page and on your mini-profile next to your posts.
Will I be notified if I've received a warning level?
Yes. You will receive a PM from a staff member telling you how much your warning level has been increased (this will usually be mentioned in the subject of the PM). You will not be able to see this PM if you have been suspended, but after returning to the forum you will have it in your Messages tab.
My account has been disabled. What now?
Anything that is not a permanent ban will be an account suspension, not technically a ban. When your account has been disabled you will see a message on the login page telling you the duration of your suspension. What you do is you wait. If you create an account to evade even a week-long suspension, we will ban you permanently. And we will keep banning you as long as we need to. Just use your head if you do encounter that page, please.
I have been banned from the forum. Can I still come back?
Maybe. You will have to email us about it, though, and give us a good reason to lift your ban. Our staff email is singershubstaff@gmail.com.
Is it possible to decrease my warning level?
Of course. We might not always remember to do this on our own, however. If you want your warning level decreased, you can ask a staff member to do this and we will take your recent behaviour into consideration when deciding on how much we will be decreasing it.
If you have any questions that you feel I left unanswered, I would be happy to answer them below. Happy hunting!
Percentage | Reason | Ban |
