Weak High Notes and high tessitura (364 views)

First of all i wanna say i'm not english,so please forgive me.

now the problem is this crap,quacky stuff

of course i have a bad pronounce but in the end i have weak quacky notes and if i try to sing a song with high notes for over a second,the voice collapse in donald duck!
for example keeping a3 b3 and c4 for long time is pointless,my voice doesn t keep the tessitura.

 vocal coaches said me i m a baritenor..too bad i can 't afford these notes as the best baritone in the world:jeff scott soto!

You mean the notes that are close to one octave above the middle C, right ? That would be A4, B4, C5. You're singing the song way too high. That G4 in chest voice is a bit much for you at the moment and of course you would have to sing the part up to D5 in falsetto. Even the "baritenor" Elvis Presley wasn't that good at singing much higher than A4 in chest voice.

Yes..i mixed italian marks and usa marks.
I meant a4 b4 c5..
what do you mean with d5 falsetto?
Falsetto sounds weak,i wanna reach these notes in mix or head voice but i have quacky sound.
Maybe you say falsetto,a certain falsetto well builded that sounds very good.

just one thing
in the past i had voice till g4..then a break..i restarted from e5 to g5 and i sung very powerful..too bad i had no notes in the middle.
After sls lessons i connected g4 till d5 and i lost the very high notes as e5 f5 g5..
is it normal lost something after lessons?
first time i stop at g4 and restart in e5..then i forgot how to do high notes but i have connected others things..weird.

i wanna know where is the problem..

I suggest around F4 is high enough for you in chest voice at the moment. That would be just over your passaggi. Don't try to force head voice to sound more like chest voice unless you know how. D5 in anything else than head voice is ridiculously high even if one has tenor passaggi and has practiced singing high up a lot.

The only time I hear something that resembles baritenor in your voice in that song is when you sing the lowest notes. You could try singing the song one octave down, that may work better.

The purpose is to develope a decent high voice..however if you think that is impossible i will accept your words..

Given your voice type you might become good at singing A4 in chest voice with a lot of practice. Special techniques for singing nicely higher up will also take some time. A lot of songs will fit into C3-F4 or A2-F4, maybe plus some notes in head voice. That will fit your actual voice. You are not a super high tenor.

my ideas
1 my english is crap and you don t understand what i say. My fault
2 f4 is in my pocket,for the project in my mind i need at least d5 ( but if i will touch f5 or g5 i will be happy)
3 i said about my voice before and after sls lessons..
4 you know the art of singing but the fact you don t tell me what to do is the picture of no sense discussion

i know that i can reach g5..i forgot how to retake certain notes..sls has connected g4 to d5 ( btw these notes are useless ) but i lost,for exampe,g 5..

i wish know how to sing better in high zone.
i don t wanna talk about the wonderful world of baritones and the myth of c4 and his friends d4 and e4..
in this business you have to shock people..i dont wanna go in tv show and singing baritones notes..i need to shock the whole system..csuse i m old ( 40 ) fat and poor..i need a special voice..whatever it takes..vocal surgery for changing to baritone to tenor

I answered that in the two first sentences in my previous post. I'm not going to coach you. 

Sure you can reach a G5 somehow. I have reached F5 in chest voice many times and Bb5 in falsetto. None of those notes are useful at all. I have to go much further down to find a note that can be sung well enough for an audience to appreciate it. C5 and F5 are more likely candidates. A4 and D5 are more pleasant for me to sing.
