Two Bold Notes in Both Categories (1,380 views)

Have you ever seen a song be listed in the same thread, with notes in bold in both the low note and high note section?

(For example, "Take On Me" is listed in Morten Harket's thread has both a bolded A2 and a bolded E5.)

If so, what is the biggest gap between those two notes that you can find? 

(Again, using the example of "Take On Me", A2-E5 would be 2 octaves and 7 tones.)

I've found two examples that span 3 octaves (plus).

Josh Turner: Firecracker (B1-B4)

Barry White: Good Night My Love (C2-C#5, also ik it's technically Loves Interlude/Good Night My Love but c'mon, both notes are seen in Good Night My Love so idc)

Can anyone find any examples? I'm not counting on any 3 octave finds but it would be neat if we beat Barry.

The Ivan Rebroff thread doesn't have bolded notes, but "The Nightingale" is listed with notes from E2-A5, which is 3 octaves 5 semitones. All of that is sung notes, just regular chest voice and head voice. I don't know if the A5 at the end is boldable but there are several E2s and F#5s that could be.

The list has B1-E5 for the one and the same live performance of "Abendglocken". That's the same range as above, 3 octaves 5 semitones. The E5s toward the end are definitely boldable. The fry B1 at about 1:55 is very good, so it should be boldable too.

"Im tiefen keller" has F1-F5. Boldable ? I'd vote for A1-F5.

I looked in Dimash's thread to see what I could find: "Grenyasa Strast" has bolds from A2-Bb5.

"You're mine (eternal)" by Mariah Carey has bolds from A2-F6. Same bolded range as I proposed for Ivan Rebroff above, just one octave up. That's 3 octaves 8 semitones. Not sure where exactly that A2 is found in the clip though.

"several live performances" of Elvira by Voiceplay have a bold C#5 from Geoff Castellucci.
But this specific one is specifically listed as having a bold C2 at 1:43 with the C#5 at the end.


Also, "The Most Beautiful Girl in the World" by Prince has a bold F#2 and a bold C#6.

EDIT: The NEWER Castellucci thread has THIS performance of Elvira listed as having a bold C2 and a bold C#5. I'm just gonna say Geoff Castellucci - "Elvira" rather thanm mention a specific performance bc we have multiple examples, same notes so who cares

I think I've found a new record. Yma Sumac's "Chuncho (The Forest Creatures)" has bold notes from Bb2-C#7. 4 octaves, 3 tones.

I didn't bold both at the time, but the A5 - C3 passage in "There Must Be An Angel" could easily pass for a bold in both categories.
