{Vocal Summary}
Metalcore and post-hardcore have a lot in common when it comes to the uncompromising nature of the music when it comes to its vocalists. And Ohio resident, Ryland Raus, is definitely a vocalist who does as he pleases. Fronting projects such as Inhale Exhale, the supergroup, World Gone Cold and being a new member of the crabcore band Attack Attack!, has this man showing his strengths as a vocalist and being able to expand more of what he could do compared to the start of his career. Raus is a tenor who has a lot of power in his voice using it for harsh and clean vocals. In the past, his highs only got around the start of the lower fifth octave and only screamed higher notes; however, as his career went he started to belt a bit higher notes sung with a lot of control and excellent breath control. As his melodic register grew however, his screams began to get more mid range which can be either him preferring to take the route or voice change. His lower register however is mostly sparsely used. Despite mostly having rare or not-as-well-known projects, Raus is still a very persistent vocalist who most likely has some new things to show in the future.
