Elliott Smith: D4 from Plainclothes Man (although it was counted before his threshold was moved to E4; one of my favorite notes of his) I forget specifics but Gene Ween has quite a few in the E4 - F4 ballpark that kinda make me think his threshold might be too high lol

I'm thinking of seeing how fast I can go through his catalog soon to whip up an E & F section. Lmk if you have any bold suggestions.

Also, here's my list: Chester Bennington's F4's in "In The End". John Linnell's outro C#4 in "Doctor Worm". Coincidentally sung beneath a bold F#4 from Flansburgh. Danny Elfman's F#4's in "Dead Man's Party" aren't particularly flashy, but his consistent, smooth approach and the rate at which he does the note are really impressive to me. Rivers Cuomo's F4's in "Pink Triangle", beneath the F#, remind me of why he's a tenor. The G#4 in the 2nd verse is also one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard, but that's not mid-range. Thom Yorke's E4 in "Paranoid Android". Frankie Valli would hold out the intro E4 from "Let's Hang On" a lot in live shows, though sometimes down a half-step. This is my favorite from him. Sade's G4's in "Smooth Operator". The verses as a whole are also pretty representative, I think, of what boldable mid-range could mean. It's all in her mid-range, but it really drives the song. Grace Slick's bold A4 in "Somebody to Love", I think was mostly bolded b/c of the long F#4 leading up to it.

Would most of Bing Crosby's bolds also fit here? C4 maybe is a significant note in his discography, but do we really think C4 is actually a high note for his voice?
