Gene Wilder (June 11, 1933 – August 29, 2016)
Vocal Range: E2-E5
Years Active: 1961-2013
Nationality: Northamerican
Gene Wilder was a very famous american actor, writer and author for cinema and T.V. Probably his most recognizable work is his role as Willy Wonka from famous movie "Willy Wonka & the Chocolate factory" in 1971, being so the first actor who interpreted this character before than Johnny Depp and Timothée Chalamet.
Aside "Willy Wonka" other of his most famous movies are for example "Stir Crazy" or "The Woman in Red" from 1980 and 1984, "Young Frankenstein" in 1974 or "Another You" maybe his last undisputably well recognized work, in 1991.
He has a long career through various decades of films and television series, dedicating himself mainly to starring in comic roles but sometimes also acting for some dramatic or serious films as well.
Despite not being a singer, in my opinion he always had a very warm, gentle and extremely pleasant vocal personification, full of peace, security and calm.
I agree with a comment I saw a while ago on YouTube for example where he's interviewed and the comment dude says something like when he heard him answering the questions he forgot how much his voice was so calm and soft , it is like "if you were having a conversation with an very old friend."
Unfortunately, he died on August 29, 2016, aged 83 at his home, from complications of Alzheimer's disease after fighting with this illness for three perpetual years
