Vocal Summary:
Being one of the more well-rounded singers in Smosh, Damien's vocal abilities are perhaps not too surprising, given his abilities at voice acting, but even the most keen-eyed Smosh fan might not know that he's actually classically trained. Beside this training, however, his vocal range is rather pithy. Why this is because he clearly prefers staying within his limits, as he sometimes straight up avoids some higher chest notes he's straight up incapable of. He tends to stick to a range of G♯2-G♯4, a range that makes sense for someone who trained as an operatic baritone. Even if his range isn't much to write home about, fact of the matter is he's a great singer, and holy shit is he funny.

Also I bolded the F4s in "Toss a Coin to Your Witcher". While perhaps not the flashiest, they are repeated and also surprisingly good quality given he was sick while singing

exactly also it pisses me off how little of his falsetto range he uses, anyone with a chest B4 can get up to E5 in falsetto at LEAST must be the ingrained opera policy, also on that C#5 he makes a face like he didn't hit the note well (even tho he stuck it pretty much perfectly) maybe he feels it isn't a strong register for him? A shame, i concur |
