Albums you bought for notewatching purposes (366 views)

If you're such a massive nerd that you couldn't just give up when you saw a singer of yours had an album which was unavailable on streaming platforms, you had to buy an album in order to make your thread more complete, share those instances here. Digital is fine too, but with physical it's just more fun seeing the proof.

I was proud of this one because I used my actual memory of seeing this album in a (relatively) local retail store to find it and buy it for Paul's thread:

It's actually one of Paul's better solo albums as well, so this was a win-win purchase.

I guess something that undirectly counts is when I bought DIR EN GREY's live/documentary blu-ray TOUR12-13 IN SITU-TABULA RASA because I couldn't find it anywhere online (or when it was there, another reason would prevent me to get it like no seeders for years or a missing part), even on private trackers. So in order to have a complete archive of the band knowing that later, eventually, I might come to notewatch Kyō (and indeed, I did), I bought it

Something else was the limited editions of Polkadot Stingray's EP Sekirara and album odoru yo-ni (CD + DVDs) in order to have some extra live material that I knew wouldn't be uploaded everywhere, and turned out to be of use when I notewatched Shizuku much later.

But I don't think there has been an occurrence where I bought a release directly for notewatching purposes; rather, some purchases turned out to be useful later on and would've been required if I didn't have them. I'm in bed at the moment I'm writing this, but will gladly take photos of said releases and add them to my post, hopefully I don't forget lol
