This is a thread to showcase those odd, uncommon instances wherein a singer suddenly decides to dabble in a sound/genre that is very much not their own.
The inspiration for this thread:
As you might be able to tell from the immense amounts of twang in his voice, Dwight Yoakam is a country singer. However, your ears do not deceive you; this is a swing song. The only one to Dwight's name, to my knowledge. You might think that this would be a recipe for disaster, but I honestly think he sounds quite at home in this setting. Dare I say it's among his best performances and likely an indicator of a guy with a pretty sizable musical palate.
For something a bit funnier, this...thing (song starts at 1:12):
How unbecoming of Astley this is seems to be the point of the performance. Rick handles it well enough, although the mere existence of this collaboration seems quite tongue-in-cheek. A goofy little gem, I suppose.
Now I open it to everyone else; have you come across any interesting peculiarities?

William Cobb rap song
And yeah, if we're gonna talk rock artists making rap songs, we gotta talk about this.
Mick Jagger combines that old time rock 'n' roll with disco
Also whatever the fuck this is. Better than Paul Anka's version if you ask me
