The arguable leader of the Spice Girls, Ginger Spice Geri Halliwell was by far the group's most distinctive member based on style alone. Though not often recognised for her vocal talents, Geri was in fact the group's primary creative force, being responsible for hits like "Stop" and "Viva Forever". Her solo career likewise demonstrated her creative potential whilst capitalising on her campy yet feisty image. In spite of her creative potential, Geri's voice has often not been the focus of either her music or the Spice Girls'. She was notably the only member of the group without any formal musical training, consequently meaning she was often denied lead vocal parts and relegated to backing harmonies. Her lower register is actually a rather solid one as exemplified in her solo career, and though her upper register is inconsistent (sounding strained occasionally as low as A4), it developed significantly throughout her discography. Geri might not be revered for her vocal capabilities, though her voice is pleasant and characterful enough to match nicely with her musical output.
{A Few Examples of Her Voice}
It's OTT, camp and not quite perfect - sums up Geri pretty well.
It's not the most adventurous vocal performance, but it's the most Geri's ever really sung in a Spice Girls song. It's relatively recent so you can tell how she's slightly more technically refined, too.
Probably the best vocal performance from her debut - some pretty strong lower notes and not too bad higher notes later on.

Questionable notes are any notes of questionable significance. In short, this spoiler acknowledges notes that I am aware exist, but do not want to contribute to the singer's range. These involve (but are not limited to) notes of questionable identity, notes of questionable legitimacy and notes of significantly poor quality.

Disclaimer: In the Spice Girls' harmonies, it was occasionally difficult to discern who was singing what. Mel B and Victoria often sang the lower notes whilst Emma and Mel C sang the higher ones, however this was not an absolute rule. To make it more complicated, the harmonies sung on the studio versions of the songs weren't necessarily the ones sung on live versions, there were some cases where one member was implied to be singing when they actually weren't, and there were times where one member was singing one of the harmony parts whilst also singing another part/ad-lib on top. I've listened to the group's albums and live performances several times and I think I have a pretty good knowledge of who sings which parts, but I am not infallible and appreciate any kinds of constructive criticism on these threads.
