I am aware these songs exist but I am not going to notewatch anything she did before ocean eyes. That would belong to her prepubescent range (which I’m not including, at least for now). I know there’s only months between these songs and ocean eyes, but I wanted to start with this song, because it’s from her first EP. If it was an independent single, I would’ve probably not included it in the thread either (or I would’ve removed it at some point).

I don't really see the big need to exclude those notes. Female voices only tend to lower a few notes after puberty, it's not really comparable to cis male voices which can deepen like an octave or more. The voice goes through changes of a few notes at several points in life, and female voices tend to lower more later in life. Should we be making separate threads for female singers when they reach their 50s or 60s?

Hey just wanted to mention this website claimed billie has a c#6 in "everything i wanted" and a d6 in "no time to die" also she has a E5 mix in Oslo norway preforming her song "my boy"

Which website is it? I’m pretty sure Billie doesn’t have any note in the sixth octave, but some people love to claim singers hit super high notes when in reality it’s just undertones or part of the instrumental, that’s why I’d like to check. And the E5 is flat, uncontrolled, her voice slipped and almost cracked, so it’s not worth adding it to the thread

It seems odd that she would pitch some D3's and sing others in the same song.

It's not really a thing to "breath out" a note. It's basically air. 

Ocean Eyes doesn't go below E3.

So much of what they post is wrong, and the worst part is that everyone believes them. Of course, not everything’s wrong, they have some great videos that are accurate. However, we’re on a site where we know how to notewatch and do it carefully, and it’s pretty annoying to see the influence that Famousvocal has on people, because it’s not a good one. Because of them, how many people believe that Billie’s range is G2-B5? And why does range even matter so much? It’s like there’s always a competition to see which singer will hit the highest notes and which singer will hit the lowest ones.
In conclusion, come to this site if you want to have accurate information about a singer :)

Maybe they're trying to make her range bigger so when all the people that talk down on her , for her range , a "point" to be made. But I've seen a lot of people believing her range is G2-D6 , you can see it in the comments on youtube lol.

Even if that was their intent it's still spewing false information and it's harmful that it's reflecting onto this site.

I know this myself since when I first came onto the site, I did the same to ama (I apologize for that, it was super annoying) and now seeing people fill the comments of these threads with anything that they're told really hits a nerve (go take a look at the comments of the Melanie Martinez thread).
