{Vocal Summary}Neil Cicierega is the singer and creative genius behind the solo musical project Lemon Demon, and also the driving force behind so many other different things, it's kinda ridiculous. If we're being honest, his singing is largely unimpressive. His voice isn't unbearable to listen to, but by and large not technically impressive by any means. Most of his work is some falsetto buried in the background with him singing in the 2nd-3rd octave and...
...okay look, I've danced around it long enough, Spirit Phone is far and away where his greatest vocals lie. It's clear on that album that he's going all out with everything. An eerier tone to a lot of the songs, very clean production and mixing, and he even goes all out (by his standards, anyway) with the vocals. I mean, it's still Neil, so it's not "WOOOAH HE'S AMAZING". But when the guy who would hit a meh chest G4 when he felt like it every two albums or so all of sudden starts belting good Bb4s (see "Reaganomics" and "Touch Tone Telephone"), it's definitely a shock.
