Since there wasn't a Bowie Thread here on TRP I felt free to create one.
Is there anything that hasn't been said yet ? He(born as David Robert Jones) is one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century, acclaimed by critics and Artists. Especially for his innovative work during the 70s.
He done it all.. Folk, Glam Rock, Soul music, funk, Hardrock, Pop.
His style shifted radically towards the sounds, Genres and Characters/Personas he made and created.
I grew up with his music. Especially since my mother loves his music. But I became a "true" fan after I watched the Movie "Christiane F". There is a concert Sequence which absolutely fascinated me immediately. Since then he has been my favorite Artist and Singer.
It's always difficult to Pick favorite Songs and Albums since he has done tons of great Stuff. But I try it..
