Did you know that heroin actually helps expand vocal range? it’s no coincidence that Phil Anselmo only hit E1’s after doing it, there’s no other logical explanation other than Heroin

What do we think of the Eb2 around 1:04? It sounds pretty weak but it holds up better compared to some of the questionable notes such as the E2 "Pleatu."

It should at least have it's existence acknowledged in the question notes section. Though rebaru seems pretty inactive atm so R.I.P to his profiles for now.

It does sound like he touches E♭2 there but very fry-heavy, I think the spoiler would be the right place for it. Also, it's always a pleasure to watch that performance. Just listening to the "And I Love Her" clip for C♯2 and it sounds to me like he starts on a (sharp) B1. Does anyone else hear the same?

The "And I love her" does sound a bit lower in comparison. IDK if it gets down to a B1 or if I'd consider it countable tho.

ALRIGHT the bolds have been put on there, there is no C5 in "Even In His Youth" that i would remotely consider boldworthy but if someone can dispute i'll see what you all think

I listened to it and nothing struck me as particularly boldible in that song, tho I wouldn't consider myself an expert.
I find it a travesty that nothing from the Big Cheese Demo has been listed, especially the scream from 2:32. You can argue that it's not the most pleasant sounding note, though that could apply to a lot of Kurt's notes. It's long, controlled, sustained, and it's got some power to back it up. I think there's a good argument to be made about that note being boldible, but if not, I see no reason not to at least list it along with some other moments from the demo.

I agree. I'd say fully countable, mostly because Kurt is relaxed and goofing around, plus it's got good weight.

Also a sharp G2/flat G#2 from Krist. All that video tells me is that Krist needs his own range planet. We could probably find some more notes with some obscure clips/interview and cobble together a 5 note thread.

I think Kirst also does a bit of singing in the brief "cover" of sweet home Alabama in the unplugged show.

It's an amazing FACT that Kurt, the guy that sang of PURE feeling not really caring at all about technique or the health of his own voice had an actual 4 octave range, HAH. I mean, some people are just born with talent and don't even try to sing well but are great singers regardless (like Dylan lol). It just happens naturally, I guess.

I'm actually surprised that note isn't in the thread, especially since it can be faintly heard in Kurt's vocal range video (I know that video isn't perfect but still.)
