Jarvis Branson Cocker (19 September 1963)
Associated Acts: Pulp (1978 - 2002, 2011 - 2013), Relaxed Muscle (2002 - Present)
Vocal Range: C2 - E5
{Vocal Summary}
The Britpop War is absolutely shafted. No one will shut the fuck up about Oasis even though the other three groups, and I mean Pulp especially though I have to remain faithful to Blur at the end of the day, but PULP ESPECIALLY kick their ass any day of the week. And I mean hey, Suede made some average fucking music, my GOD did they make some boring fucking tunes, but at least their first two albums ripped faces, especially since one of them was Dog Man Star.
Ok yeah got a little off message there, but Pulp were one of the biggest names in British rock music during the 90s, with captivating tunes and embellished by Jarvis Cocker's idiosyncracies. Cocker has a strong baritone voice, further making them better than Oasis (and Suede I guess) and actually had the ability to belt quite substantially in the 4th octave (so fuck you Damon I guess?). While the main appeal of Cocker is probably his lyricism, he actually more than enough has the chops to compliment his charismatic stage presence.

{questionable notes}
C7 ("Acrylic Afternoons" staccato squeak)
B6 ("Acrylic Afternoons, blatant inhale, "His 'N' Hers" shitty crackle inhale, "Street Lites" have a guess)
A6 ("Acrylic Afternoons" blatant inhale, "His 'N' Hers" blatant inhale)
G♯6 ("Deep Fried In Kelvin" blatant inhale, "Frightened" blatant inhale, "Slush" weird squeal, probably inhaled)
G6 ("59 Lyndhurst Grove" blatant succ)
F6 ("This Is The Night" My man actually went for inhales in a Harry Potter movie lmao)
D6 ("The Night That Minnie Timperly Died" Live on Jools Holland 2001)
B5 ("Further Complications." awkward squeak)
B♭5 ("Black Magic" ugly-ass squeal)
E5 ("Common People" aimless "whoop"s, "My Legendary Girlfriend" various aimless exclamations, "Sheffield: Sex City" "Ow")
*"My Erection" is completely vocoded and the original pitch basically is unrecognisable. I am however, pretty sure that he gets A2s at the start of the song.
*i just straight up ignored any shitfry because who cares
*it is also worth noting that I focused on the fundamental or general pitch when it came to the speak-sung notes. Obviously I'm not gonna list every breathy dip to D2 or lower he makes as part of his range.
G2 ("Angela" questionable identity)
C♯2 ("David's Last Summer" brief/one-off = misrepresentative)
C2 ("Beastmaster" weak fry, "Death Comes To Town" fried/not enough tone)
B1 ("The Birds In Your Garden" unfortunately, pretty much exhale :/)
