Christopher Paul Colfer (b. 27 May 1990) is an American actor, singer, and author. He is known for his portrayal of Kurt Hummel on Glee, which earned him the 2011 Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor in a Series. He was also named on Time's 2011 list of the 100 most influential people.
{Vocal Summary}
Chris Colfer is known for his very high-pitched, light singing (and speaking) voice. He stood his ground as a capable choral soprano in "diva-offs" with famous soprano Lea Michele on Glee, and showed his versatility by alternating between soprano, alto, and tenor parts throughout the series, plus one bass part, in "Give Up the Funk" (these notes were contested, but proved to be genuine when Colfer imitated them in a radio interview). He has an incredible chest-head mix, with chest resonance perceptible right through his highest recorded notes. He uses his lower register only occasionally, but with great support also.
