nothing stuck out while we were notewatching her. tbh none of her highs are particularly good imo. Like i mean, they're fine and all i like her voice duh, but I wouldn't consider any of them to be a "bold". Like, I think the C#5s in Echolalia are about as strong as her highs get and everything above that is kinda like the F#5. Her lows are all very strong, but they're pretty much all identical quality.

People tend to refer to her as a contralto.

so, we tend not to talk about voice types on this forum, it's something we moved away from re: contemporary vocalists a long time ago.

In my most humble, and honest, and non-expert opinion... I've never particularly bought her being a contralto tbh. she can sing low very well, and her highs are pretty rubbish in the 5th octave, but I've never thought her voice was dark enough naturally. people will argue this black and blue though, it's one of the many reasons we don't discuss voice types now lol.

the gap we leave between low and high note sections is more a reflection of how they use their voice musically, rather than being in any way related to the singer's placement or tessitura (although obviously their will be some correlations here and there: but correlation, not causation)
