While best known as an actress, Scarlett Johansson's singing career still manages to garner a respectable amount of attention. Her smoky low register has been put to good use both on a few albums of her own and on various movie soundtracks. Though she sounded pretty hesitant on her vocal debut back in 2008, I find that her vocal skills have strengthened noticeably in the last few years, demonstrating some great tonal moments on the occasion that she puts out a single nowadays. Hopefully her day Sugar for Sugar eventually does a full length, because I'm rather fond of her vocal style and hope to see her explore it more in the future.
