Maybe you would see yourself as being more like Prince—if you did the same thing every morning, but put a picture of him on the mirror.
I’ll try it and let you know.

I expected more sixth octave notes.
Edit: That is one harsh C7! Lol

I'd say "Temptation" is Prince's greatest vocal performance by far.
Also, why is the G#7 from "Temptation" non-melodic. It may not have sounded particularly pretty, but it's not just some random shriek that fell outside of the chord either.

Wait, we're actually counting that vocal fry? If so, I wonder why the standard for what's countable and what's not is so low for this particular thread. That C7 probably shouldn't be there either. But I guess it's your thread, you can do what you'd like with it.

I sat through them back to back some years ago and never touched either afterwards, so maybe they aren't as bad as the binge listen had me believe. Either way, that voucher seems like fair compensation.

I’m not quite sure about that C7. It sounds like it could be inhaled to me.
Also, I feel like the C6 from “Vavoom” should be coloured blue, as it is pretty clearly sung in falsetto.

No idea if this was mentioned, but there's that insane opening G6 in the beginning of "God". Might be worth bolding.

I could see him as a possible tenor so there clearly is a ‘possible debate’. He is a Baritone. What makes you think he is a tenor? I think Kaji is right, it's possibly he's a tenor. He might be a baritone as well idk I think it's possible to debate his voice type.

Would baritenor describe his voice since it is apparently is a legitimate voice type.? Webster defines it as a “baritone singing voice with virtually a tenor range”

But if we're GOING to do this old song and dance again, I put forward that Prince's vocal type is "The Bari Formerly Toned as Tenor"
