Better than Dig Down, Thought Contagion and Something Human. But that says very, very little

I know it's not properly out, but Compliance has leaked (and by leaked I mean the director of the music video put it on Vimeo)
it has some nice A4s near the end, as well as G4s in every chorus, and some falsetto Bb4s at the end as well.

Compliance should replace Hyper Music as a bold A4 IMO. I don't think GUAF's E5 should be bold. It sounds awkward and potentially tuned. TIRO and Crying Shame are better candidates. I also don't think BITM's B4 should be blue. Listen to it live, it's a pretty strong head mix.

I'm losing track with these Muse song acronyms lol - I didn't know off hand what GUAF and TIRO were, and I had to click the link to figure out what BITM was. For "Break It to Me", I'd agree that the notes are more solid than his usual falsetto, but you can also hear the clear switch to mixed voice for the G4s and A4 at 1:32. So with that in mind, I could kind of go either way on it. Regardless though, I gotta say it's actually some pretty impressive register switching. Definitely hard to do it that seamlessly in the middle of a run like that.
Btw as a side note for aphelion , I'd say that the best way to list the D2 is 'singing the riff of "Heartbreaker" In-Studio on Jonesey's Jukebox'. Having it listed as just "In-Studio on Jonesey's Jukebox" (especially with the quotation marks around it) makes it look like that's the title of a song that he sings a D2 in or something.

I also don't think BITM's B4 should be blue. Listen to it live, it's a pretty strong head mix. Hyper Music is one of his most impressive A4s, literally half of the track is constant, strong A4s. Compliance has 2 strong but relatively short A4s, and they're no comparison imo. I disagree with BITM, this thread only lists the studio version of that note and in that version which is considerably weaker than the live one (which sounds better imo), drenched in effects and autotuned more than the average Soundcloud rap song. I'm gonna change the bold from GUAF to TIRO, since although GUAF sounds good, I probably should have bolded TIRO in the first place.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=phWcEWrU_x0found this performance of glorious where he does the Eb5 backing falsetto in the final chorus as a lead vocal (3:17), which might be worth putting in the thread. also the on the "it fuels the lies" line in the final chorus of the studio version (3:33) goes to a black G#4 which isn't in the thread.

I know it's already in here, but I was really surprised when I heard the chorus of Will of the People. I didn't expect him to go that high on a new song (I'm especially surprised after last night's performance, oof )
Also, I see that the first G#5 falsetto from the bridge is under questionable notes, but what about the second one, which is much stronger and sounds more like the scream from Hyper Music? I feel like that could probably go in as a non-melodic black note, like the Hyper Music scream, but it's so buried in the mix that it's hard to figure out the pitch. I'm leaning towards maybe an A5 for that one, but I'm not sure.

I'm getting A5 at the end, and I think it's actually the only scream from new songs one can pitch (unlike the Won't Stand Down and Kill or Be Killed screams) I'd also count A2s from that song as legit, they are more audible here and I think you can clearly tell it's Matt singing: youtu.be/nzHnwHzp9o4ah, and new song "Kill or Be Killed" just debuted live and it's mental, gonna have some nice high notes from that one after its release! edit: also, I think WOTP belts go up to G sharp, not G

From Kill or Be Killed, I'm getting falsetto D5s and A4s, and full voice G4s
And yeah, the WOTP belts could be G#, but it's hard to tell. I think it starts as a G and sort of subtly slides up to G#

I think it starts as a G and sort of subtly slides up to G# I pitched the WOTP scream as a C#5 (it’s black and italic) I added it a while ago. I’ll add in the A2s as legit as well. Belts in that track still too out at G to me but just a little bit sharp of the note. KOBK I won’t notewatch until it comes out. Was talking about the A4s and Bb4 in the Muse Discord last night and since decided that I will wait for release. If they are in the studio version, I’ll just put the track title, if not I’ll include the live tag since they do sound a bit improvised. Great song tho!

I only heard A4 but now that I listen to it again I think you might be right about the Bb4. It's very hard to tell, though.

Voice Type: Unsus-Tenor-ble This might be the worst voice type I've seen since "Tenless Carespnor". thank you for the compliment

Just listened to the leaks. Goddamn, side 2 of this album is good--both the vocals and the songs. Halloween and Euphoria sound like they have some great high falsetto notes, too.
I don't hear the WAFF A5, though. I assume it's in the vocal harmonies near the end, but I still can't hear it.

Some epic vocal performances on the new album. It's just a shame about the songwriting!

I could definitely see the G#4s from Halloween being bolded, but then there's also that high falsetto note (I think it's a G#5), which is even more impressive IMO.
Edit: Sorry, I didn't notice that it was already bolded. Still, what do we think of the falsetto note?

Still, what do we think of the falsetto note? i heard the note loads of times but i’m still on the fence as to whether it’s a synth or not. if it’s vocals then it’s very impressive update: it’s a synth unfortunately
