This guy sounds like a tenor who's a bass wannabe like Casper Fox I think his lows should start at E3 and highs at G4 Note: Don't use fanart of the guy because we usually use actual pictures of them like this (This is a screenshot I made):

E3 seems like overinclusion to me, and i wouldn't start his highs that close to his belting limit. D3 ish and E4/F4 is more where i'd put his just off a guess but i do not consume his music hardly at all
also im not 100 that he's a tenor. im like 70-30 on low tenor and high baritone. he's audibly much closer to a tenor than he is a bass but his insistence on low singing makes it hard for me to get a great grasp on his tessitura and i dont know enough about his passaggios to say confidently where they sit.
i know nobody asked about what i think of the guy but like. i have had small exchanges with him and he seems nice generally but he kind of has an inflated ego in regards to his ability to sing bass (thanks in part to people he knows gassing him up). i will say for his placement he does a good job on those 1st octave notes but he's out here hearting comments telling him he would be a better bass for ptx than matt which seems like a very odd thing to perpetuate in his own comment section to me especially considering it isn't really true lol. also i find it funny in a cringe sort of way that he has his voice type on tomi p's discord server as "high bass" when at the lowest he's barely a high baritone

marwan's voice B1 and below is especially good and consistent for a tenor but tbh mccartney's still got a better C2 imo. in fact the tug of peace C2 may be better in general than any of marwan's low notes lol

I just checked that link, noone94. I already have it listed as a subharmonic C♯1. Damn too bad it wasn’t an E0.

youtu.be/XUdY5oHvKVg?si=Y3uJV9Y1f96-9vOTC2 at 0:52, F1 at around 1:11 i think, and a mixed C♯5 at like 2:17. kind of an irrelevant tangent but this song especially demonstrates his voice's natural density, or lack thereof, in my mind. tomi and the manav guy both seem to be baritones and audibly carry a lot more warmth and depth in the 2nd octave than marwan. its especially audible to me in this song because of all the bass line part switching. not important but interesting to me

That's a pretty good fry singer, for a low tenor ! He's in command down into octave 1. Makes Paul McCartney's A1 from "the girl is mine" seem less fantastic. If he developed his actual tessitura he would have quite the range. I think he does have a well-developed high range too. I personally think he’s a bit more of a baritone, due to his ease of access to the 2nd octave. But that’s just me ig. If y’all are wondering about his comfortable range, he talks about it in this interview. www.youtube.com/live/58c9WLsJRMw?feature=shareHe says he bottoms out at around C2-B1. (In regards to chest notes during the day) I also heard that he did from the Bass Discord.

I know some of you might not agree with this, but Peter has confirmed that Marwan is a bass, it’s just hard to tell because of his light and bright tone, since he’s the youngest of the boys in TBG, but he has really good control on those lows, and I’m not sure a tenor would go around having daily B1s. We’ll have to see how his voice grows and develops as he gets older.
At his lowest, he’s prolly a high bass or baritone.

Idk who Peter is but how can you listen to those other guys' voices and think Marwan here is a natural bass or baritone like them? He has clearly put in the work to have access to this lower range, but that doesn't change his natural placement which clearly seems higher Peter Barber, from The Bass Gang. He talks about Marwan's voice here: youtu.be/Tu92fd97RLY?si=MUKVa181Q9iwO3QvI feel more inclined to believe Peter, since he's a professional and he's best friends with Marwan and he's worked with him for a while. Just my 2 cents and you can disagree.

Peter also says that he (as a bass-baritone) has a higher voice than some dramatic baritones he knows. this notion defies logic. the issue with Peter's method of assessment as to how low someone's voice is is that it seems to be defined (at least in large part) by how low they're able to sing on a given day and still sound connected, as opposed to things like their timbre, passaggios and M1 thresholds. by their standards of "chest" voice i would have like B1/B♭1 daily and i'm really not close to being a bass. marwan's timbre is clearly tenorish (which to be 100% fair means he could still be a baritone with like just an MT-esk overbrightened approach. some ppl think scott hoying is a tenor bc of his overbrightening habit) and he clearly is not at or above his primo passaggio at A3 to my ears, meaning there's a fairly high likelihood he couldn't be a bass. at a glance it also seems E4 isn't at or above his secondo passaggio either, but im not familiar enough with his voice to be an authority on it as i said earlier in the thread. his M0 is super well practiced and sounds quite connected but i've never heard him sing even a C2 in M1, so his extension via that mechanism seems pretty much average among male voices.
i dont mind voice type discussion as much as some other people but like. idk i dont think its all that important especially relative to a singer like this guy who isnt even 20 and range wanks hard anyway
