I recently got introduced to Night Flight Orchestra and am pretty much loving everything that I've heard by them so far. "Transatlantic Blues" is one of those songs that's had me so hooked I've been listening to it almost daily since discovering it!

I also appreciate Björn's musical versatility from what I know of his discography. I'm not terribly familiar with Soilwork, but I get the impression that they wouldn't really be my cup of tea, so I like the fact that the amount of diversity in his projects can still give you something to enjoy one way or another, regardless of what your tastes are.

Yeah the variety is really awesome. Its why hes one of my faves. And Transatlantic Blues is definitely a highlight for me as well. Im not sure if theyve topped that first album. Theyve come close, for sure.

Hey can I get a timestamp for the F5 in Chardonnay Nights? Im pretty sure in the 2nd verse one of the Annas are singing an octave harmony so just want to see if Im mixing up who it is.

Alright so Im pretty sure that F5 in Chardonnay Nights is Anna Brygard. During the second verse, shes harmonizing a full octave over Bjorn. And I suspect that the 3 G#5s in the spoiler are also her. Ive come across some websites recently that use AI to isolate vocals so Im gonna try them there and see what I can hear. If I think I can figure them out, Ill check any others that were unsure of the identity of.

Hey man I was just wondering if youve gone through the Donna Canone stuff? Hes mostly just the guitar player but he does sing some backing vocals. Nothing Ive been able to single out sadly.

IIRC there's really nothing major there. I only heard his voice a couple of times and he hits like a backing G#4 or something- feels like he's trying to not be the frontman for once in that group.

I dont see much talk about them outside of their social media. Theres at least one song on the new Soilwork that made me feel like he couldve written it for Donna Canone instead.

So something odd has happened. NFO have announced a new album out on the 31st of Jan. I expect a single anytime. But no album announcement for Soilwork as of yet.
