I think the C5 from the One Hand Clapping version of "Nineteen Hundred and Eighty Five" could be bolded: Some E♭5s from this performance as well. HOLY FUCK. That note is insane. I’m a diehard Beatles/McCartney fan, so I can’t believe I haven’t heard that before — But, that’s legitimately one of the single best notes I’ve ever heard from him. I cannot get over how good that is. Thanks for the introduction. I appreciate it. 🙏

Why is the A5 Revolution scream listed in John Lennon's thread as a questionable note? Sounds like McCartney (the video even shows McCartney singing it), and I don't understand why it's considered uncountable:

Because it is not the same A5 that is included in that thread. The A5 in John's thread is found at the start of the official recording youtu.be/AFckPkukF7g?t=4. That A5 is clearly John to me and is a rather poor note and suitably placed in the questionable notes section. This A5 on the otherhand is not included not because it isn't countable (it is countable), but because it wasn't notewatched when this thread was made (I would wager). There are a few notes still needing added to this thread and this is one of them.

There is something off about the C6 from "Nineteen Hundred and Eighty Five" to me. I feel like I would see more movement out of him if he was hitting that note.

I don't see why he would have to move at all to hit the note.

Hey, it just looked suspicious to me.

I don't mean any disrespect to those who posted and I don't mean to escalate - but I think the replies to his statement of doubt (excluding Bink's) seem a bit overblown. He wasn't standoffish about his idea, he got the answer he wanted in the first reply, and it was not a harmful or wasteful point to bring up. I don't think questions like that should be discouraged.

youtu.be/R9ncBUcInTM?t=84 I'm not sure if this has been addressed before but there appears to be a buried low note in Good Day Sunshine that is rather audible in the new stereo mixes of Revolver that were released not too long ago. What do people think?

Agreed, questionable at best

Why wouldn't you count that E6 though? Is it just to keep his range on the same level with John?

Yes

I'm really iffy on that E6 myself. The tone I find pretty decent, and it isn't a popped note. But it's also something I'm not sure he could comfortably recreate. That being said, I'm not super knowledgeable on Paul's falsetto range, I mainly listen to him for his chest voice.

To the very least, there's no reason to assume he wouldn't be able to recreate it if he needed to/wanted to, ye ye he's a tenor and it's not absurdly high, falls into the falsetto range easily

I mean is it any less countable than the likes of Eminem's top note? I don't think so.

Is there some properly searched and documented vocal range video for him? Did anyone try to put it out (does it get insta taken down?)

Paul singing some Oasis songs here at a party in 2018 youtu.be/CpJz71SihBI These are the notes I gathered from it: "Wonderwall" - A4"Half The World Away" - C3 "Live Forever" - G4s, B4"The Importance of Being Idle" - A4s"Champagne Supernova" - C#5"Don't Look Back In Anger" - G4s, A4s and a D5
Edit: Troll video

The recordings posted by that channel aren't real; they're just impressions. Not to mention that it says the party happened in 2018 despite the video being posted in 2017 and the description saying that David Bowie was there lol Lmao, I didn't realise it was a troll channel.
