The old thread is actually pretty accurate. I just haven't been bothered to add bolds and stuff to it yet so it hasn't been brought over. I wouldn't recommend starting a new one in any case, since his discography is massive and has a tendency to drag on considerably, especially during his cocaine years :)

I was planning to do a vocal range video for him either way, so I might just do it haha.

Wow! That's surprising! Most of them go down. From what I remember the Tom Jones one you or someone else from here made was blocked. I was thinking of doing a range vid focused specifically on his early years though.

In that case I'd recommend just listening to his earlier albums. You get all the fun of James Brown without actually signing yourself up for listening to aaaaaaaall of his post The Payback stuff.

Alrighty, I've been quite absent in the past few months and that's probably going to continue to the foreseeable future. Might be more active again at some point down the line, but not imminently. Consequently, all my claims are now only nominal. Any threads I haven't posted by now you are more than welcome to take off my hands if they interest you. I'll still be dropping in at some point each month to keep an eye on my finished threads that may need updating and maintaining with new releases or if any new notes are discovered, hopefully finish the threads I've posted in Work in Progress, and generally stay somewhat in the loop on the forum.
