Hi, so remember how we were talking about new shit? Well this is part of it this is new shit. Talking with staff over the past year revealed that we have members in our roster who feel that they are too inactive for one reason or another to be doing their part in the way they would want to. Tara and falsetokaiba are returned to regular members as a result. Both of these were decided by the two themselves, but Tara specifically has expressed interest in returning to a staff position at some point in the future, and I obviously welcome her back at any time. She's been the model example of an Advisor for as long as she's been around and I truly hope we will see her in the role again (or maybe higher if she wants to who knows). For now, I wish both of them the best. We will of course be seeing each other again promptly because it's not like they're going anywhere, but without the buffer of a moderation chat or some such thing. The good news is that we still have people who have earned promotions. BAZanine will be our newest Administrator. You might not fully appreciate how long of a time that has been coming. Without spending too much time on a history lesson I will say that this is undoubtedly the single longest ever journey to this rank I have ever seen and probably will ever see, and I definitely appreciate that he has had the patience to endure that journey with us. If nothing else — and there are definitely a lot of other things — the sheer determination on display would have earned him this rank by now. Electric Mami is our newest recruit in the Advisor position. They've been one of the most defining parts of the Discord server recently, they clearly think about the forum a lot and will no doubt represent the forum in a positive light in the Advisor position. I am comfortable saying that these are the kinds of people we want to see in this role. Alright, we have done the thing. Until next time, and remember: never turn your back on the bees.  |

I was going to respond to this with a flippant air typical of me, but I can't. I just cannot. Wow. Six years I've been vying for this. I hate to make the conversation about myself but that is a long-ass time. I was part of the Range Rep generation! That's insane to think about. Obviously I went pretty inactive for a good three years there but hey! The man comes around. Anyhow, I'm very grateful to have been welcomed back to the forum and to once again be doing what I enjoy. I hope to continue helping make this forum the best it can be, whatever that ends up meaning along the way. Don't worry, I'll only abuse my powers if I think it's funny. Also, hello Electric Mami ! My condolences! |

Hi, Some heavier-class promotions this time. Electric Mami: Advisor -> Moderator Hennessy Macklemore III: Moderator -> Administrator Both of these are obvious for different reasons. It's a bit weird promoting one of the founders of the entire forum to admin again though lmao Regardless, I believe both of them are performing well above their station. Ever since Electric Mami got the advisor rank, she's basically been working up to performing the duties of a moderator, so the title is really just a formality at this point. Meanwhile Hennessy Macklemore III has been consistently brainstorming ideas to streamline our claim systems and thread updates, so now that he has the power to actually lead the charge he'll probably get to implementing those as soon as possible. Cheers to all that.  |

So, as the corporate oligarchs choose our next leaders here in the States, we on the staff roll have uhh...you get the joke. Welcome Goober to the team! A very important piece of the TRP puzzle, Goober's been a consistent and prominent contributor for some years now, be it in the form of his own threads or of the oft-repeated Mike Patton hilarities and similar phenomena. Needless to say, he's been putting in levels of work and commitment becoming of an Advisor for quite a bit. On top of this, he's frankly just a good dude and the community would not be the same without him. This has been a matter of when, not if, for a long time, and I'm very happy to have him on board.
