Hi all! I'm Rob. Just fond of the idea of finding out specific vocal ranges to some of my favourite artists, and this site has been super helpful in that. Especially on some singers that I wouldn't expect, like Nat King Cole, who had a way deeper range than I expected! Anyway, I look forward to trying to participate in this fun community.

I'm eMeaux (emo lol) get the pun?
I am a 17 year old male (he/him)
I'm big on vocal jazz and I've been looking at the website for a while and would like to contribute! I've already done some notewatching (albeit on some obscure jazz singers) but I'd like a chance to post what I have eventually (Claude McKnight the brilliant Bass-Bari who has a range of about G1-C6, Mark Kibble a range of C2-A5, and Alvin Chea a legendary bass who has a range of F1-C5), These are all members of Take 6, my favorite vocal group, who I have been lucky enough to talk to, and I'd like to post about them and create a thread if I can!
I am a singer and a vocal jazz arranger with some pretty good connections and I look forward to my time here!

Hello, I'm haeksk I just noticed that there was a self-introduction thread, so I thought I'd write something quickly I've known about this forum for a handful of years from Googling vocal ranges out of curiosity, although never thought much of it I recently decided to make an account because I found a note that wasn't listed on a singer's range, and then decided to try my hand at notewatching a singer's entire discography because I was curious about their vocal range myself It takes a lot of time, so I don't think I will notewatch the entire discography of singers in the future, only just smaller-scale things if anything or contributing random notes here and there But I'm enjoying listening through all the songs, and it's an interesting experience I might join the Discord and try to get to know everyone

Sup folks, I’m Shlumpity, I used to be on here quite a bit back on 2.0, I can’t even remember my old username to save the life of me but I got back into note watching and wanted to see how the forum was doing. Would probably just keep it more casual since I don’t get me-time with work but fuck it, we all like music, might as well contribute

Hello!
I'm new to the forum. Who do I talk to if I have technical problems sending e-mails to other forum members?

Now it has been 4 days and an moderator-member hasn't answered. You also are a moderator. Is it okay if I mail the question to you? Or are you too busy?

Hello I'm Tony. I've been watching various random people on this site and earlier versions of this site for the last 3-4 years. I've always been interested in knowing various singers ranges from a young age.

Man, this is so cool. I love seeing you guys dissect the vocals. It's so rad. I don't know anything about that stuff but I love rock n roll.

Hi everyone, I'm Rémi, 34 and I'm from France.
I found this forum to be very interesting, I searched for something like it for a long time.
In wich section can I ask informations about the voice of one of my favorite singers?
Her voice is very particular, I think She's a contralto but I'm not an expert at all.
Best regards

Hello everyone!!! I'm Chris and I'm a lyric baritone from California :) I've been seeing this forum for awhile and finally decided to join (largely because I really wanna plot John Mayer's range!) Very excited to be here, and hope everyone is doing well.

Hey, I used to be a less active member a couple of years ago. I don't recall what my username was (think I changed it a couple of times, too). I haven't been much into singing these last few years but I've been getting into it again lately.
I've been browsing the site recently and figured I'd join. I sing at work and every now and then whenever I get the chance, though I just do it for fun and would like to share some of my singing at some point, as I would definitely love to improve a bit. There are just no singing lessons over here where I live that I know of.
Anyway, I'm not too knowledgeable on singing so I might not post much, but I'll be on every now and then.

I've lurked on this site and a couple previous versions of it for a while but I never made an account because I know pretty little about music even though I like singing. I was a stand-in for the bass of my high school's acapella quintet (even though realistically I think I'm some form of baritone but idk), but that was the last time I did any kind of vocal performance and it was years ago. nonetheless, I figured I might as well make an account to interact with threads that I have something to add to to some degree. Dunno how relevant to me and my activity on this forum this is, but as contemporary musicians/groups go, I'm a big fan of Ed Ames, Home Free, Bleachers, Trace Adkins, P!nk, John Legend and Andrew WK, all for wildly different reasons lmao. I look forward to interacting with all of u folk!

Hello. I only just recently discovered this forum and oh my goodness where has this been all my life! Notewatching (just learned this word) has been one of my favourite hobbies for a while now and I have been struggling to find a platform where I can share vocal range stuff. However, after finding myself here I reckon this place could be it. I'm still familiarising myself with this place and I hope I can find my way around everything.

Hallo! I'm Soy, 14 yo aspiring low bass (no I'm not a rangewanker and I can prove it), am currently looking for help in regards to... Well, everything singing related.
Any questions you have about low notes, and specially Bass Singers and the Profundi/Oktavists, contact me :D
Hopefully nobody immediately discriminates me as one of the comment section 12 year olds with negative notes and 2 digit whistle notes. Hugs from Brazil.
Anddd since it seems o be trendy here, as much as I despise it, I'd do something like Eb2 - B3 off mic, but power and closure down to B1. (Power meaning choral usage)

Yo. I'm a bass singer who wants to sing in metal, but I'm too low of a singer and I don't pop in mixes. My range is both amazing and terrible, to where I span maybe 4.5 octaves (3.5 are from falsetto). The issue, of course, is that it's with falsetto. Not to mention my lows are inconsistent, where one day my lowest is an F2, and the next is an A1. I'm a fan of various underground artists, for the most part; so I joined here in hopes of getting them on here, perhaps. Ciao
