That "Soul Brother" F♯5 just sounds like an F5 to me. Between notes but closer to F5 than F♯5 I'd say sure.

if that's human then I don't see an issue with it.

The E5 I am hearing, good ears! The F6 though, I am personally hearing it more as guitar, though it does have a similar tone to Freddie when he really gets up there. youtu.be/kgLmYaRPrGE?si=CF9HyJtAikotswSpAlso, I feel like the E6's and F6 from the end of this video should have some discussion. They are brief notes, but he hit the notes back to back consistently, which I feel count for something, and he has hit similar notes in the same manner many times in other concerts.

I'm hearing it as his voice; the tone is pretty similar to Edinburgh D6s, and you can hear his voice going down after the note. The Tokyo 1979 E6s (I don't think they actually get up to F6) should be included, because they sound pretty controlled and he hits them more than once. I see very few reason not to count them.

The E6 in it’s late is resonant and E6-F6 in Get Down make love in Tokyo 1979 is more than acceptable. Idk why it’s not agreed in his vocal range. Montserrat Caballé herself said he had a four-octave vocal range so why go down his range

The E6 on It's Late isn't horrible, but I have had discussions on why it is not counted, and the logic is fair. The note is cracked into, even though the actual ending note is briefly held and has some resonance. As for the Get Down Make Love notes, I personally believe some are worth another look, but the problem with the song and the notes is that the quality varies so much, as well as the range of notes. Freddie never consistently tried to hit, for example, F6 every night he sang GDML. As for Montserrat Caballé, for all we know he might have demonstrated for her his full vocal range, and it very may have been four octaves. But, we do not currently have enough evidence to prove it was four octaves reliably. That is how I look at this. I am still helping out with this thread and adding countable notes that I find. So if you happen to find good new or not talked about notes, feel free to bring them up.

Montserrat Caballé herself said he had a four-octave vocal range so why go down his range He very well might have, but there's a difference between the range he had and the range he displayed on record, and the level of quality to which it's displayed also factors in significantly. So that's why. Also it's very easy for people to make these kinds of statements about people's ranges as a figure of speech - someone may very likely round up when talking about someone who had a range of 3 octaves and 10 semitones and just say that they had "a four octave range" rather than going to the trouble of making that specification.

A4. Probably boldable by this thread's standards

I agree, that is a wonderful A4! Especially considering the tour and the show itself, given Freddie's vocal health throughout.

Can we take a minute to appreciate how despite being a baritone Freddie’s highs start at A4! That’s fricking incredible!

I think ellie was being sarcastic Oh my bad lol. That was just me then being hyper sensitive because we had that discussion here as often as his whistle notes from "get down make love" lmao.
