Would you mind pitching them please? I'm about to leave for work, so I can't really check, but just listening to them they sound alright. The full voice is good personally, the low notes I think are okay. Nothing too impressive compared to his stronger lows.

I've found the high note in Khashoggi's Ship as something like Ab5, and the low note at 2.46 in Body Language as a C#3. Would you mind pitching them please? Nothing too impressive compared to his stronger lows. I agree with everything you wrote. Anyway, I'll try to pitch them.

I've found the high note in Khashoggi's Ship as something between Ab5/A5, and the low note at 2.46 in Body Language as a C#2. Thanks very much! That's quite extreme, especially the C#2. Very surprising. I'm gonna ask some others for their opinions, cause I always have trouble with low backing notes.

The note isn't in the fifth octave and I don't really hear it going above like E4. And the C#2 is quite audibly a C#3 to my ears.

Innuendo, you might want to test or try using a different pitching app or just a different method entirely, since as Kaji said, the notes you mentioned seem to be pretty off. I know that some people use a piano app and listen until it matches up, so that might be helpful.

About the "E4", it seems like the high note in One Vision, which is a G5. I really don't think that is an E4. Maybe pitching apps and I are wrong. Tuners are unfortunately quite misleading as they might pick up overtones + notes that simply are not there + might also pick up noise. Tuners are only really useful for well... instrument tuning and some casual live singing checking. Piano is the way for notewatching. I've tried to use different pianos, online pianos too, and that note isn't an E4 at all to my ear.

Interesting variety of opinions people have been having about these notes. The note at 2:16 in "Body Language" is absolutely not second octave, and I'm not sure I'm even hearing it get as low as C♯3 - sounds like a D♯3 that trails down into pure breath from there. As for the note at 2:46, I'm guessing you're talking about that little laugh bit in the background? Cause that's all I can hear there in the ways of any "low notes", and I wouldn't really consider that worth counting at all.
As for "Khashoggi's Ship", I have to firmly disagree with both of the pitches people have assigned it so far - it's definitely fifth octave, and VERY clearly higher than E4 to my ears, but not nearly as high as A♭5 either. I hear it as a pretty obvious E♭5, and frankly I'm kind of surprised that we've gotten as wide of a range of other pitches that people are hearing it as instead.

I agree, (after finally properly listening to it lol) the way he hits that note sounds similar to his other high full voice notes. For example, the F5 in Barcelona (Vocal Slave version) has a similar sort of tone to it, or the Eb5 in Innuendo and so on. He's got a fairly specific tone he would use for notes like that I've found. I've got no real opinion on the low notes, the C#3 or D3 is meh, not really worth mentioning especially compared to his better lows.

I have to say you're absoulutely right. I tried to re-pitch Khashoggi's Ship note and actually it is Eb5/E5. About Body Language, yes, at 2.46 I'm referring to that Little laugh (which isn't countable tbh).

May've checked the wrong timestamp for Khashoggi's Ship then. Agreed about the low note though.

Hi, I talked to a person who says that the A5s in All God's People (timestamp 0.53) and in See What A Fool I've Been, BBC Session, (timestamp 2.17), sound to him more like light mixed voice, also the B5 in See What A Fool I've Been, "album version". What do you think?

What do you think? The All God's People note is a bit tougher to tell for me, but I always thought of it as falsetto. The BC Session version of See What A Fool I've Been is absolutely falsetto, albeit a strange sorta squeaky sounding one. The album version though is more difficult. It never quite sounded like falsetto to me, more like a strong scream, but it might be reinforced with falsetto so I don't honestly know.

It definitely is a bit hard to tell. Also I found an interesting note at 3:44, and I'm trying to determine both, firstly, if it's Freddie, and if so, what the note is. It's an interesting slide, and it's the ending of it that makes me think it might be him, otherwise it's Brian's guitar. youtu.be/AYfLhiDnlrE

I think it's Freddie, and that note peak at Eb6. It's a good note, but I don't know if it's countable or not.
About this performance, there is a curios Eb5/E5 at 3.11, which seems to be not falsetto, and a "siren" C6 at 3.18.

I personally think that the Eb6 is countable, just from the way it is scaled up to it sounded really good. At least personally speaking. The C6 sounds solid too! Not really sure how to feel about the Eb5 though, it seems a bit too much of a shriek than anything really musical. Granted, that could be said to be true for 98% of Freddie's notes during this song lol.

At 21:01 Freddie hits a surprisingly good B5. Very good B5, countable to me youtu.be/m4aP16t1PC0 Is Freddie at 29:48? youtu.be/h0hNewc84YoAt 27:57 Freddie hits a very high note, but it's buried under the synth and the guitar so it's really difficult to hear

The first link is absolutely not Freddie, or at least not to my ears, unless I'm listening to the wrong part. As for the second link, I sorta hear it, but it's really buried as you said, so I can't really make it out very easily. Might honestly be an illusion.

After listening more, the first isn't Freddie in any way, as both of you said, and the second is very hard to define. Here's a nice low note hit at 1:03:36. Seems to be one of his lowest note live before 1984/86 improv. youtu.be/0QO4cm9uFAcAlso nice high "siren" falsetto at 28:18 here, you can hear it lower before and then repeated with echo. youtu.be/qVXgFkkhkLI

I couldn't quite tell for the low note, but I think the high note "siren" was a C6 or maybe a C#6? Not sure if it's overly countable to be quite honest, but thanks for pointing it out. I think at 28:32 there is a G#6 scream. But that very likely is overtones, and might not even be Freddie.

I think it's Freddie (he made similar notes a few times always in Get Down Make Love) and probably overtones, as you said. Definetely not countable. The siren note is a C#6 and I would consider it countable, since the pitch is clear and the note is sustained for 2 seconds. And the low note seems to be a worthy C#3/D3. Here's a (probably full voice) D5/Eb5 in Self Made Man, from the Innuendo session. youtu.be/TzGc-QeALRo?t=144
