This thread is to suggest singers you might be interested in doing a thread for. If you're looking for someone to notewatch and need some inspiration, hopefully there'll be somebody here that takes your interest.
All singers listed here are currently threadless and up for grabs- if you do want to claim one you should still post in the Singer Index thread, and I'll remove them from this list. Also feel free to suggest more singers to be added to this list or if you feel it'd be better to have singer(s) listed under a different genre tag- I'm undoubtedly lacking in knowledge about genres I don't listen to all that much.

Great idea :thumb: . I'd add the Killswitch Engage singers to that list (Howard Jones and Jesse Leach) , I would also add Chino Moreno from Deftones, Shaun Morgan from Seether. If I can think of others I will comment on them in a longer list so as not to comment constantly.

Ooh I'm all for this. There are definitely a number of singers that I'd like to see threads for, but I'm currently pretty stocked up on notewatching projects myself, so I won't be able to do new ones for a bit.

Here are my suggestions for additions:
- Adam Pascal for the musical theatre singers section
- David Coverdale for glam metal
- Graham Bonnet and Tony Martin for traditional heavy metal

Adam Pascal and Tony Martin sure sound good. I think rebaru is planning on redoing David Coverdale, and Platypus' old Graham Bonnet thread at least in my opinion is still up to scratch, so as he no longer wants to claim Bonnet I might just tune it up a little and have the Steve bot host it.

I know Eric Adams already has a thread. I've currently got Mark Boals claimed and am working on him, but it might take me a while as he's got a pretty big discography. I had also suggested doing Mats Leven as a collab with a few other users, although if anybody else particularly wants to claim him I wouldn't mind much. The others I'll add :) Keep the suggestions coming.
Update: Sting had been claimed as a collab between Rebaru and Baronessa, and I think Zedd (possibly with other collabers including IHateMana if memory serves) is re-doing Peter Gabriel, although I see that wasn't in the Index before, and I'll add it now.

Ah whoops, somehow I missed that Eric Adams thread! I know some of the others were threads that we had on TRP3 that haven't been moved over yet, but they haven't been listed in the thread index yet, so I figured I'd mention them here. I know John Bush is up for grabs because that was one of Sandblasted's old threads and he gave up all of his for grabs; Zedd Squared had Peter Gabriel though so maybe he'll end up moving that one over; and rebaru also had Sting, so if he's planning on keeping that one it should also be added to the index.

So what I'm getting from this is that the thread index needs a decent amount of updating, if there are that many singers that people have made claims for already but aren't listed there  Does anyone have Lou Gramm claimed, for that matter? Because that would be one of my other suggestions otherwise.

The death growls probably wouldn't be worth listing since those don't tend to have much of a musical pitch. I guess I could try help pitching some of the screams though. Fuggit, sign me up for Roger Hodgson actually. I've already notewatched the entire Supertramp discography and it turns out he only has three solo albums outside of that, so that should be an easy enough task. Apparently Rick Davies doesn't actually have any non-Supertramp albums for that matter, meaning I've already notewatched his entire discography, so I'll probably go ahead and move my old thread for him over here too.

Maybe I'll end up taking over Andrew Stockdale's thread at some point too since, since I would only have to notewatch three more albums to finish that one off, but if so it'll inevitably end up being a long way away.

Two other suggestions for the Traditional Heavy Metal section of this thread: Doogie White from Rainbow/Yngwie Malmsteen's Rising Force (confirmed B♭2-B♭5 I believe) and Todd La Torre from Queensryche/Crimson Glory (last listed for G1-B5).

I did some notewatching for Todd back on TRP2, so I might end up taking him over just to finish off the rest of what I started, but no promises until I have a clearer queue for threads. Also considering potentially doing the same for Andrew Stockdale and Stu Block though.

Started going through the old Cathedrals' records for the George Younce thread.

I think Ryan Tedder would be a good one to do. He has some great mid-5th octave belts. Lots of A5s and B5s from live performances as well. If anyone (or myself) does him be careful when watching range videos, his “C#6” is actually a full voice slide up to C#5.
