In that case it's up for grabs, I don't like enough of his discrography to volunteer myself to do it.

So I'm probably gonna try to do it, but it's very surprising nobody has done John Mayer yet. He's obviously a far superior guitar player but his voice is at worst slightly underdeveloped and at best a surprising treat

Putting up the work I have done on Stereophonics singer Kelly Jones thus far. I only like the first two albums )(the third was a struggle) and so do not want to take the research any further. This is a start for anyone interested. All I would ask is to be credited for the first 3 albums so my work was not in vein :). Contained within the first spoiler are the significant notes thus far and the second contains the albums ranges. Significant High Notes D5 (“Have a Nice Day”) C♯5 (“Looks Like Chaplin”, “Tie Me Up Tie Me Down”) C5 (“Mr Writer”, “Raymond’s Shop”) B4 (“Chris Chambers”, “Raymond’s Shop”, “Thousand Trees”, “Watch Them Fly Sundays”) B♭4 (“Handbags and Gladrags”, “Roof Top”, “The Last Resort”) A4 (“A Minute Longer”, “Angie”, “Billy Davey’s Daughter”, “Check My Eyelids for Eyelids”, “Just Lookin’”, “I Wouldn’t Believe Your Radio”, “Handbags and Gladrags”, “Last of the Big Time Drinkers”, “Maybe”, “More Life in a Tramps Vest”, “Summertime”, “Sunny Afternoon”, “Surprise”, “T Shirt Sun Tan”, “The Bartender and the Thief”, “The Last Resort”, “Thousand Trees”, “Too Many sandwiches”) G♯4 (“Have a Nice Day”, “Mr Writer”, “Roof Top”, “Surprise”) G4 (“Angie”, “Billy Davey’s Daughter”, “Carrot Cake and Wine”, “Everyday I Think of Money”, “Goldfish Bowl”, “Handbags and Gladrags”, “Local Boy in the Photograph”, “Looks Like Chaplin”, “Not Up to You”, “Plastic California”, “Raymond’s Shop”, “Roll Up and Shine”, “Thousand Trees”, “Too Many sandwiches”, “Who’ll Stop the Rain”) F♯4 (“A Minute Longer”, “Check My Eyelids for Holes”, “Half the Lies You Tell Ain’t True”, “Last of the Big Time Drinkers”, “Lying in the Sun”, “More Life in a Tramps Vest”, “Plastic California”, “Poppy Day”, “Same Size Feet”, “She Takes Her Clothes Off”, “The Old Laughing Lady”, “Tie Me Up Tie Me Down”, “Too Many sandwiches”, “Watch Them Fly Sundays”, “Vegas Two Times”)
Significant Low Notes E3 (“Fiddlers Green”, “Just Lookin’”, “Looks Like Chaplin”, “Maybe”, “Summertime”, “Surprise”) E♭3 (“Same Size Feet”) D3 (“Caravan”, “Home to Me”, “Is Yesterday, Tomorrow, Today?”, “Not Up to You”, “Positively 4th Street”, “Something in the Way”, “Step on My Old Size Nines”, “The Last Resort”, “Sunny Afternoon”, “Who’ll Stop the Rain”) B2 (“Maybe”) A2 (“Maybe”, “Surprise”) G2 (“Caravan”, “I Wouldn’t Believe Your Radio”, “Roll Up and Shine”) F♯2 (“Surprise”, “Watch Them Fly Sundays”) Word Gets Around (1997): D3 – A4 – C#5 Performance and Cocktail (1999): G2 – A4 Just Enough Education to Perform (2001): F♯2 – D3 – B♭4 – D5

Bunch more suggestions: - Peter Sundell from Grand Illusion - confirmed C3-C6, amazing high notes. - Freddy Curci from Sheriff and Alias - he has an old range video from Jowox's channel in Timi's Dropbox, and his TRP2 thread had him listed for F♯2-C6, though I'm not sure how legit the lows are. - Benjamin Kowalewicz from Billy Talent - confirmed B♭2-A5, would be curious to see if anyone can find some more lows by him. - Lenny Wolf from Kingdom Come - has an old range video from 2010 in Timi's Dropbox folder, which I hear a legit A2-B5 in, though it's incorrectly listed for F♯2-C6. - Ski from Deadly Blessing and Obliterator - also has an old high notes video from Jowox's channel in Timi's Dropbox folder. Insane, Rob Halford-esque high notes up to D6 and even a short E♭6, and if I remember correctly he gets down to E2 in a cover of "Silent Lucidity". - Mike Tirelli from Burning Starr and Messiah's Kiss - another Jowox singer who has an old high notes video in Timi's Dropbox folder. Not really sure what his legit range is because his TRP2 thread was by a notoriously unreliable user, but I would estimate somewhere around B2-D6. What song did Ski go to D6 and a short E♭6? Was it deadly blessing live in 1987 or was it something else? I can't find it and Timi T videos on youtube are gone and the dropbox link doesn't work :(

He going to be remaking the threads. No I don’t think they are, especially when the owners of those threads have shown no interest to drop them.

Anyone claim the recently departed CJ Snare yet? What a singer. Pitch perfect and commanding live. Reminds me somewhat of Vince Neil in terms of his nasally focused "baby voice" timbre up top albeit with world-class technical ability. www.youtube.com/watch?v=eLtDmqQN-UY&t=3271s

So, I'm new here as far as accounts go, but I've observed the different threads for my favorite singers for a while now. I've noticed there aren't threads for some artists that I'm personally a really big fan of, so I figured I'd mention it here. I haven't really done any research as far as note watching goes, but I think I could. Anyway, the two on my mind right now are Jeremy Enigk of Sunny Day Real Estate, Neil Young, and John Darnielle of The Mountain Goats. Would I be safe to start trying to notewatch for any of them (probably Jeremy Enigk or John Darnielle first, Neil Young has a lot of albums).
