Any of your singers' highest/lowest notes rank as some of their best? Almost make you think they could have gone higher or lower than they did? I'd like to hear them, and bonus points for any singer with boldable extremities at both ends of their range.

It seems I'm not going to find anything higher for Mark Boals than this C6, but it's a pretty great note to top at. James-Paul Luna's range is currently C3-B5, with both of those bolded, so I really hope he tests himself a little more and gets into the three octave club.

When I was notewatching LiSA there was this one song where I thought she might have hit a D6 in the fadeout- one of those "big if true" moments that would expand her range by a fair bit. So I looked up a live version to see if she ever hit that D6 live. The answer, as it turns out, is hell yes.Julien Baker has some great E5s but for whatever reason literally nothing higher. Also it's a bit low in the mix but Chris Difford's C2 sounds strong and easy enough that I'm kind of surprised he never had anything countable in the first octave.

Sam Endicott: Hit some strong E2s on "Oh Glory", and it's his only time hitting those notes. Not sure he could extend much more than that, but shows strength in his somewhat underutilized lower register Hannes Norrvide: Pretty sure he can go lower than B♭2 Charlie Day: Not the best C6 but pretty solid, especially considering the slide from C5 to that note. I guess he could go a few semitones higher if he wanted to Julian Casablancas: A slight exception, since his highest bolds from me are F5s and his highest notes are F♯5s, but he shows a lot of ability in his upper register. How come I can't find a useable G5 from him...?

I think " Gotye" could be a good example of this: Is not exactly that his lowest extrimities are bolded, but talking about his low register, there happens something curious IMO. He really doesn't hit very solid notes in his comfortable area (C3-E3 notes) but entering to his lowest notes, we can hear his best displays for low tones: a boldable B2 and a boldable A2 (section where he only has two songs, and the other A sounds good too) lower that, just there are one G♯2 and one G2, which ones, even though aren't bolded, sounds really good and strong (specially his lowest note, G) comparing with the whispery and airy voice he use in his medium range. In fact, from A2, he just have 4 specimens for his low range: two notes in A section, one in G♯ section and other one in G. And all that notes sounds better than 90% his highest/comfortable lows. In other words we can say his 3rd octave low notes are insignificant, little interesting and very average, but entering his last two tones, he sounds stronger, even until his lowest note, which one sounds yet with lot of weight in his voice, making me think he could go lower eaisly.

Happy Rhodes' crazy lows are a great example of this. Completely and utterly badass. And it's like the lower she goes, the better.
